Katharine Dowson’s practice is grounded in the enduring language of figurative sculpture, approached with a contemporary sensitivity to anatomy, movement and psychological presence. Working primarily in bronze, she explores the human figure not simply as an observed subject, but as a vehicle for expressing gesture, emotion and the passage of time.
