The Gaberbocchus Common Room (1957-59) was the first club in London for artists and scientists and those interested in a dialogue between them. There, members and their guests could see films, listen to talks or performances, read journals, look at works of art hung on the walls, and eat spaghetti and drink wine. This book tells its story.
