Murmurs on the skies
Tuesday 10 December 2013, 7-9pm
Since our early beginnings as a species we have looked up to seek the answers for the most profound and fundamental questions of our existence. While gazing the night skies we have also wondered how outer space sounds like. With the advent of modern technology we have finally started listening to sounds beyond our atmosphere. Soon, these collections of sounds would have an impact in the way we understand and relate ourselves to the cosmos.
Murmurs on the skies is presented by the artist and musician Nahum who curates the Kosmica series at The Arts Catalyst and coordinates the Technical Committee for the Cultural Utilisations of Space within the International Astronautical Federation.
